SJS Students Visit the Hardin County Courthouse

Last week our middle school students went on an optional field trip to the Elizabethtown courthouse to explore careers in law. The trip was led by local attorney and parent Mr. Don Jones. Students were able to hear real cases, talk to a judge, tour the different parts of the courtroom, and ask questions about the work of attorneys, judges, clerks, and bailiffs. You may view a photo gallery of the field trip here.

It was such a great experience for our students and we are so grateful to the Elizabethtown courthouse and Mr. Jones for allowing us to come visit!
