SJS Kindergartners Visit the Pumpkin Patch

A favorite field trip for our kindergarten students each year is the trip to the pumpkin patch! Our students too their annual trip last week and learned all about apple trees and pumpkin life cycles.  After returning from the trip, Mrs. Peak’s class conducted some pumpkin investigations to see how much our pumpkins weighed, how tall they were, guessed how many seeds they may have, and checked to see if they would float or not.
