A Fantastic Field Day!

Field Day at SJS was an unforgettable celebration packed with excitement, teamwork, and school spirit from start to finish! Students, teachers, and families came together for a day full of friendly competition, laughter, and fun activities that kept everyone moving and smiling.

We kicked off the morning with an energetic pep rally that got everyone excited for the day ahead. The gym was filled with cheers, music, and school spirit as students showed off their enthusiasm. One of the highlights of the rally was the dance party, where students and staff brought their best moves to the floor and the crowd cheered them on!

After the pep rally, students headed to different station to enjoy a variety of games and activities spread across the campus. The bouncy houses were a favorite stop, giving students a chance to jump, laugh, and burn off some energy. The water games helped everyone stay cool while adding an extra splash of excitement to the day.

Field Day classics brought out teamwork and determination as students competed in tug o’ war, the 3-legged race, sack race, and egg race, cheering each other on while having fun together.

Another crowd favorite was the bucket booth. Students took aim at the target, and when they hit it just right, a bucket of water came splashing down on a willing adult from our SJS community! The booth kept students laughing all day long and gave teachers and volunteers a chance to join in the fun.

A special thank you goes to the Hardin County Water District for providing water refill stations throughout the event. Their support helped everyone stay hydrated and refreshed during the warm and active day.

Field Day was a wonderful reminder of the joy that comes from spending time together as a school community. Thank you to the PTO and all the volunteers, staff members, families, and students who helped make the day such a success. We are already looking forward to next year’s Field Day!
