Black & White Knight Success!

Black & White Knight continues to exceed expectations and provide essential funding for SJS operating budget!

We are pleased to announce that the 12th annual Black & White Knight gala – A Knight to Remember – raised $120,000 to support Saint James Catholic School.  The elegant evening featured dinner, dancing, auctions, and live entertainment, creating a sophisticated atmosphere for guests. A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Senator Joe Prather Distinguished Alumni Award to Thomas R. Clark, Jr. honoring his outstanding contributions to the community.  This event not only provides an enjoyable social experience for attendees, but also plays an important role in supporting the school’s mission.  Funds raised at this event support various programs for our students and are used to help maintain salaries for our faculty and staff.  An event of this scale requires hard work from many people.  A special thank you to the volunteer committee, chaired by 7th grade parent, Deidra Hutchins, for the months of work each of them committed to the event.  Additional thanks to those at SJS who were a big part of making the event successful, Mrs. Coen, Andy Padgett and Aaron Kubat – our amazing facilities team, Mrs. Barnett and our preschool teachers and assistants for the creative class projects, all faculty and staff who provided desserts and/or experiences for the auctions, and our PTO.  Finally, thank you to all those who sponsored the event, participated in the auctions and attended – it is because of our entire community that the event continues to be so successful!
