KY Gives Day is a 24-hour online giving event for non-profits throughout the commonwealth of Kentucky.  This is the eighth year that Saint James Catholic School will participate in the event.  We will be raising funds to assist with some capital projects around campus increasing functionality and comfort.  Funds raised will assist us with the following projects:

• Covered Entrance for Preschool Door
• Replacement of the Air Wall between the cafeteria and gym
• Replacement of the front office HVAC unit

The funds raised on May 12 will determine to what level we support these projects.  We have secured a $50,000 match – all online gifts received on May 12 will be matched $1 for $1 up to $50,000!

If you would like for SJS to maximize the funds raised throughout the day, we are asking our families and friends to give during one of the Power Hours planned on May 12 – 6-7 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 4-5 p.m. or 11 p.m.-12 a.m.  The organization with the most unique donors who give during these hours will receive an additional $500 toward their fundraising efforts.  So, you might mark your calendar to share your gift with us during one of these times on May 12.
