Dear Saint James Community,
One thing that makes Saint James special is the sense of community that surrounds our students. Whether families gather for a school event, teachers encourage students in the classroom, or classmates cheer one another on, these moments remind us that education is about so much more than what happens during the school day.
Our first quarter offered plenty of opportunities to see that community in action. On September 18, more than 400 guests joined us for our Grandparents’ Day luncheon, a wonderful celebration of the generations who support and inspire our students. Our athletic programs have also been busy, with Cross Country and Girls’ Basketball and Boys’ Basketball underway.
During this second quarter, we have more opportunities to learn, celebrate, and grow together. Here are a few important dates to keep in mind:
· Red Ribbon Week: Monday, October 26–Friday, October 30
· SJS Community Conversation – Open to all families:
- 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 in the Art Room
- Wednesday. October 28 after Mass (approx. 8:45 a.m.) in the cafeteria
· Wax Museum & All Saints Day Presentation: Wednesday, November 4
· Veterans Day Celebration: Thursday, November 12
· Parent/Student Lunch: Friday, November 20
As we look ahead, I am grateful for the many ways our families contribute to the life of Saint James School. Your support helps us create an environment where students can grow academically, deepen their faith, and discover their God-given gifts. If there is ever a way we can better support your child, please know that my door is always open.
Thank you for being an important part of our school community. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the months ahead.
Warm regards,

Mr. John Stith
SJS Principal
